Every year Goldman Sachs run a course called 10,000 Small Businesses both in the US and the UK. This ground breaking course is there to try and help Business leaders and Entrepreneurs create jobs and economic opportunity by providing greater access to education, capital and business support services. The program is run in conjunction with Oxford Business School, Aston and Leeds universities.
Over the last few years, the programme has reached business from across the UK and has resulted in immediate and sustained business growth for the Alumni of the programme.
We are very proud to say that Darren Cock our Joint MD recently completed this course and will shortly be part of the Goldman Sachs Alumni*.
The final event, hosted at Birmingham Think Tank, was attended by Richard Gnodde, Vice Chairman of Goldman Sachs, Mark Garnier MP (Parliamentary Under Secretary of State at the Department of International Trade), the new Lord Mayor of Birmingham Andy Street and entrepreneurs from Cobra beer, Mr&Mrs Smith and Not on the High Street all interviewed by Simon Jack, BBC Business Editor.
*Currently, there are 1400 businesses in the UK that have already taken part in this programme and over 4000 in the US.
